GLASSMOUNT IS...Ancient waters long since slowed to icy stillness in caverns as deep as time, the remnants of green things from green lands held for eternity as if sealed in blue amber.
Benefits: There are some folks who like a classic alcohol-based aftershave, "the hot sauce," it was called in barber school, but you don't need the burn to kill the beastlies - witch hazel does the job in this blend. In the barber chairs of Beardsgaard, clients often say they're sensitive to witch hazel, but what they're often experiencing is the burn of the alcohol used in the witch hazel distillate, not the witch hazel itself.
This soothing formula includes a special form of oat proteins that draw water into your skin, to deliver a silky feeling with the well-toned bounce our skin used to have in years past. Squalene and botanically-infused jojoba mimic your skin's natural oils, with the addition of powerful nutrients and benefits from real whole materials like marshmallow root, eucalyptus leaf and green tea
Our shave scent blends are made with more purpose than simply good smells. All of Glassmount’s essential oils are chosen for their ancient reputations for hostility toward microscopic beastlies, and friendliness toward sensitive skin that could use some calming, but especially sensitive noses. With just a touch of cool herbal freshness upon application, this scent is designed to deliver powerful benefits, then fade quickly.
Tips from the Alchemist: To keep these formulas as natural as possible, we opt to use only small amounts of emulsifying ingredients, it is advised to shake well before each use. As these aftershaves are made of almost entirely plant-based materials, some of which have small quantities of insoluble ingredients, some small plant constituents may remain in the bottle, but not in the sprayed aftershave.
How to Use Aftershave: Shake well before each use (oils may settle). After shaving, spray directly onto freshly shaved face and neck, scalp or legs and smooth into skin with your hands.
