This volume is for the autumn. The front cover is a window into Hearthstone, the scent of our autumn beard goods. Hearthstone lies in the kingdom of Svartalfheim, the land of the Night Elves in the fantasy Realm of Beardsgaard that River Peak Apothecary inhabits.
Once the Temple of Duvain, these ruins where the first Night Elves worshiped the moon were the last known resting place of the amber Míresgal, which now walks the world. The back cover is from our Hearthstone photo shoot at Starved Rock State Park and Gunnar Anderson Forest Preserve with one of our handsome af regulars of Beardsgaard Barbers.
The entire journal is overlaid with the map of Beardsgaard. The spine of the journal reads: "Autumn in the Hearthstone Ruins • Svartalfheim".
